Jessica Simpson sucks as a country singer

Jessica Simpson performed at the Thunder USA Festival in Twin Lakes, Wisc., according to reports her performance sucks. These are not my words; these are the words of the fans that were at the show.

Simpson was booed as she walked onto the stage, she did have a hard act to follow as “American Idol” finalist Kellie Pickler was on just before her. Jessica who is dating Wisconsin native Tony Romo was dressed in Daisy Dukes, a white button-down and cowboy boots.

It seems that that sexy look was not enough to save her from the fans distaste at her singing, she choose covers of Willie Nelson and Shania Twain hits, along with some tracks from her new album.

Some fans told Kenosha News, that they like her country songs better; she also has a great voice. However; most fans agreed that Jessica Simpson just don’t have country in her, she does not have that twang.

According to reports Jessica noticed that the crowd did not like her performance and said “I don’t know what your perception is of Jessica Simpson or what tabloid you buy, but I just want you to know that I’m just a girl from Texas; I’m just like you. I’m doing what I love and dating a boy.”
