
It seems that the nations TV critics absolutely love AMC’s Emmy-nominated series “Mad Men”. They have named the show outstanding new program and the year’s best drama.
The TV drama follows what life is like for advertising executives, and the cast was shocked to learn that the critics loved them at the Television Critics Assn’s annual ceremony at the Beverly Hilton on Saturday.
Other shows that did well at the ceremony were NBC’s 30 Rock, that show took the top prize for comedy, Tina Fey, creator of the show won individual achievement in comedy.
There was another double winner on the night, HBO’s “John Adams, which won for best movie, miniseries or special. The star Paul Giamatti, also won an individual achievement in a drama.
