Legally Blonde the musical winner Bailey Hanks

As we know MTV have been running the show, Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search for Elle Woods. This is because Laura Bell Bundy left the musical on July 20 and they needed to find a new leading lady to play Elle Woods.
Well on Monday MTV found their new leading lady, Bailey Hanks. The 20-year old had never seen a Broadway show before she auditioned for the hit musical however; she did know all about Elle Woods, the always happy young blonde who proved to everyone that she had what it took to become a lawyer.
Hanks said that “I saw both Legally Blonde movies as soon as they came out,” says Hanks, 20. She played the original film on video “so often that our VCR ate it up. At that point, I had to buy the DVD.”
It seems that all those hours of watching the movies paid of for Hanks, as it seemed to show in her performances on the TV show.
Bailey Hanks first performance as Elle Woods will be on Wednesday at the Palace Theatre. Hanks has already recorded a song for the show, So Much Better, which is available at Amazon and iTunes.

Laura Bell Bundy is much better than Bailey. There is just no comparison. Laura is leaps and bounds better.
EVEN THOUGH I THINK LAURA BELL BUNDY IS THE BEST ELLE WOODS I DO THINK THAT BAILEY WILL BE GREAT AT IT. BREAK A LEG BAILEY!!

I think Laura was much better than Bailey!!! Bailey just got it because they felt sorry for her because she was a poor country girl and her dad was a pastor. She has darker ashy blonde hair too the real elle woods has GOLDEN blonde hair.
Laura Bell Bundy was great at Elle Woods!!!!!! Bailey will be just as good!!!!!! and besides Bailey was the best of the bunch!!!! ♥
I think Bailey is an AWSOME ELLE ! I rooted for her for the entire compition and she will do amazing things on Broadway!!!!!!!
no contest, laura bell is the greatest. however, although i went to see Bailey in legally blonde skeptical of her abilities, she actually did really well. i was impressed, and im probably one of the biggest legally blonde fans ever, so i’m very protective of my favorite roll. good job, bailey
I was moved to tears by Bailey’s performance. They were tears of joy. Tears that flowed down my face in the same way that Bailey flowed across the stage when she wowed the judges with her performance. She made me realise that I too can chase my dreams -just like Elle Woods. If only more people realised that fictional blonde lawyers can be just as inspiring as real female role models like Condoleeza Rice, Hilary Clinton, Margaret Thatcher and Oprah Winfrey!!
Overall Laura Bell is WAY better that Bailey. The director will most likely fit the show for Bailey’s voice because she is no way near the singer Laura Bell is. I don’t think she would be able to keep up. She is very talented young woman but she is no LB!
