While watching GMTV this morning I learned that Amy Winehouse now has a waxwork at Madame Tussauds, I was shocked as the waxwork looks exactly like the troubled singer.
The figure took four and a half months to complete, and special attention was given to her hair and tattoos.
Ten weeks were spent just on her hair, which is almost double the amount of time that is normally spent on a waxworks hair.
Amy Winehouse was unable to attend any sittings to pose for the waxwork, so they had to sculpture the waxwork from photographs as well as images from concerts, like the image above which was taken from a High Definition video from the Nelson Mandela 90th Birthday Concert.
I do have some strong believes about Amy Winehouse, I do not feel that someone who has drink and drug problems should be allowed to have her their own Waxwork, after all children do go to Madame Tussauds. What kind of message does that put across; Madame Tussauds did say that they had to put Winehouse in their collection as she is in high demand.
Oh come on! How would VIEWING a waxwork of Amy Winehouse MAKE a child take drugs or alcohol? Do me a freaking favour! So you’re telling me that when children see a picture of her, it makes them do drugs or drink alcohol? Don’t be so bladdy silly! Madame Taussauds commissions new works based on so much more than socially responsibility!

I really wonder why everybody hypes Amy so much. She definitly has a nice voice, but thats all for me.
Let them make 10 wax-Amies … probably the real one will be a drug-murder soon, if this goes on.
