Jessica Hardy could end up missing the Beijing Olympics after the swimmer tested positive for a banned substance. Hardy has just two weeks to try and fight her case for an appeal, before the start of the Beijing Games.
According to someone who contacted The Associated Press, the banned substance that was found in Hardy’s “A” sample a stimulant, they did not provide any other details.
Jamie Olson, USA Swimming spokeswoman has declined to comment.
Jessica Hardy’s agent had a brief conversation with the swimmer, where she said “I never did anything wrong. I never cheated.”
Morgenstein has said that there is confusion surrounding her test, which was coming up positive-negative-positive. Morgenstein also added that Hardy is one person that he would never believe would do anything to cheat.
This news has come as a big blow to the U.S. swimming team, as Hardy was a medal threat for the 100 breast as well as the 400 free relay.
No sympathy. BAN HER.

Sports is over. In China they can probably take what they want / have to take… If they don´t get caught while they use it, nobody will ever know it.
Olympia is dead for me. >50% are cheated golds…
