The Day the Earth Stood Still Clips: Comic Con confirms Gort

Comic Con 2008 was a big deal for those fans who want to know more about The Day the Earth Stood Still movie. Director Scott Derrickson, producer Erwin Stoff and star Keanu Reeves were on a panel to give fans information about the upcoming movie.

While at Comic Con 2008 they were showing three clips just too wet your appetite, but what everyone wanted to know was, will Gort be in the movie. Well thankfully Derrickson did confirm that Gort is definitely in the movie.

Producer, Stoff did say that the movie was pitched shortly after the release of Speed, but a regime change had prevented this from happening, oh well 15 years late is better than never.

Slash Film was on hand at Comic Con 2008, so able to see the three clips from The Day the Earth Stood Still. After seeing the footage, they were not that impressed with what they saw.
