Austin Powers 4: more about Dr. Evil

When Austin Powers first hit the big screen I thought it was a great film, Mike Myers was superb. The sequel, The Spy Who Shagged Me was a little disappointing and by the time it got to Goldmember, I just lost the will with the franchise.

Now many people are talking of an Austin Powers 4, I have to admit that I think that these films are now boring and am a tired formula. Personally Austin Powers have run its course.

I do worry that it might not be the movie but Mike Myers who has lost his way; you only have to look at The Love Guru. Just watch the movie; it is the same jokes but just in a different accent.

There still might be a little hope for Austin Powers 4 though, Myers is already writing the movie and it is thought that he will be concentrating on the villain Dr. Evil instead of the hero.
