A judge has told Britney Spears father, Jamie, he still retains control of the troubled singer’s finances and personal affairs for the rest of the year. This could change though as the judge has scheduled a hearing update for October 25.
Britney Spears and her father Jamie did not attend the hearing, in the hearing it was determined that Spears had to pay attorney Andrew Wallet the sum of $100,000 and another $75,000 to Ivan Taback who manages her trust.
Spears had a meeting in her honor at Los Angeles City Hall, she was not present for that either. Councilman Dennis Zine had convened a regional paparazzi task force in order to address a security issues for celebrities. Zine was not happy with the fact that it cost tax payers $25,000 for police to escort Spears to hospital.
The Public Safety Committee was discussing a number of alternatives; one such motion was for celebs to have a personal safety zone along with a separate 911 number to call, in case they are being chased by paparazzi. The extra police will be funded by the Academy or the Screen Actors Guild.
