Morgan Freeman and wife Myrna Colley-Lee to divorce

Morgan Freeman and his wife of 24-years, Myrna Colley-Lee, have filed for divorce. This news comes days after the award winning actor was involved in a car accident. Freeman did have a woman in the car, Demaris Meyer. Before people read into this, according to Freeman’s business partner, the divorce was already in the works before the accident.

I am a little sad that a marriage that has lasted for 24-years is coming to an end; but there has to be a good reason for the couple to take this action.

It is bad timing, Morgan Freeman has not even recovered in hospital and he now has to deal with a divorce, as well as getting over his accident.

It is reported that Morgan Freeman and Myrna Colley-Lee who has been married for 24-years, has been separated since December 2007. However we have seen the couple snapped together in April 2008.
