A couple of promotional videos for the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards have just been released. It looks as though MTV have pulled out all the stops and have got pop princess Britney Spears and British comedian Russell Brand to appear in these promo VMA videos.
With the two of these two together anything can happen. Watching these videos we can see that for the most part, they are improvised.
In one of the videos you will see Brand quizzing Britney on his last name; it seems that she just can’t remember it.
Russell informs her that his last name is Brand and not Brown, he then says “You will remember that name because I think pretty soon it’s going to be your surname. Britney Brand.”
Russell Brand who is a big hit in the U.S. is to host this year’s 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. It is not known if Britney Spears will appear or not, but she is up for Best Pop Video and Best Female Video.
