Venus and Serena Williams are proving to be a dominant force at the Beijing Olympics, they have now three wins between them so far. The sisters have won in the singles and doubles today, they did have a bit of hard time when they played together, but they managed to pull through.

Venus and Serena made it through the first round of the doubles by beating Iveta Benesova and Nicole Vaidisova of the Czech Republic. They did not make it easy on themselves though, they eventually won 4-6, 7-5, 6-1.

Early on in the day both Venus and Serena won their second round matches. Venus beat Benesova 6-1, 6-4, while Serena beat Samantha Stosur of Australia 6-2, 6-0.

If the sisters keep on playing like they have done then we could see the pair of them in the final on Saturday. It could be Wimbledon all over again.

Both Venus and Serena Williams are very excited about the prospect of meeting in the singles final, but they have said that it is still a long way off.
