The funeral of soul singer legend Isaac Hayes is to be held on Monday in Memphis, Tennessee. Hayes sadly died last Sunday when family members had found his body at his home.
It was not know what the cause of death was, but it has since come to light that he died of a stroke. Isaac Hayes was a great singer and songwriter, he is most known for his theme song for Shaft.
Isaac Hayes was not just known for his singing, many people of this generation will know him as the voice for the Chef from the cartoon South Park. He later left the show as the cartoon started to make fun of The Church of Scientology.
Isaac Hayes loved his work and had just finished filming Soul Men with the coolest man on the planet, Samuel L Jackson. Hayes also stars in the movie with Bernie Mac who also passed away over the weekend.
