Michael Keaton is to lend his voice to Toy Story 3. The actor will provide the voice to Ken, Barbie’s boyfriend. Barbie will be voiced by Jodi Benson, who also provided to voice to Ariel from the movie The Little Mermaid.
This I not the first time that Keaton has provided his voice to a Pixar production, he played Chick Hicks in the movie Cars.
Michael Keaton is in good company when it comes to the actors who are providing the voices in Toy Story 3. There is Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Wallace Shawn, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris and John Ratzenberger who seems to be in most Disney animation movies.
As yet not much is known about Toy Story 3, apart from it being ready in time for June 18, 2010. What we do know is that Woody and his friends are dumped in a day care center, as his owner Andy has left for college. The good news is that Mr. Potato Head will have a larger part to play, who could forget his performance in Toy Story 2.
One thing is certain; Michael Keaton will provide a great comic performance playing Ken in Toy Story 3. Who could forget his performance in Beetlejuice, I am still hoping that there will be a sequel.
