
We all thought that the biggest fight in years was called off, but it now seems that the bout is back on again on December 6, in Las Vegas. Oscar De La Hoya has now agreed to take on Manny Pacquiao, the rising superstar.
The official announcement of the fight should take place at a conference call Thursday morning, as long as there are no last minute reversals.
The fight will be the grand finale for 35-year-old De La Hoya, and will hopefully still remain king at the end of the fight. However he has managed to keep his title as there has never been a dominant heavyweight to challenge for the title.
Just ten days ago De La Hoya’s partner in the operation of Golden Boy Promotions, Richard Schaefer and Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank said that all negotiations for the boxing match had broken down and would not be taking place.

Even if Oscar de la Hoya win this match he’ll just tarnish his record for fighting a much smaller man In Pacman, in his last fight of his illustrious career. I like both guys but i will go for the underdog, Pacman.
