
X-Files actor David Duchovny is now in a rehabilitation clinic for treatment of sex addiction. The star has issued a statement through his lawyer asking that people respect his privacy.
Duchovny, married to Tea Leoni said that he entered the clinic voluntarily; he hopes that he will get the privacy that he needs. He does not want any of this to affect his wife and children.
David Duchovny, now 48 ironically plays Hank Moody, a sex-obsessed character in the hit TV series Californication. It seems as if the actor is taking his work home.
Duchovny is most famous for playing FBI agent Fox Mulder in The X Files series. The TV show started back a 1993; there have also been two X-Files movies, most recently The X Files: I Want to Believe, which was released last month.
