
Jorge De La Rosa hands Colorado Rockies a 4-0 victory over the San Francisco Giants, after throwing seven scoreless innings as well as adding a RBI single. The game was the opener of a three-game series.
De La Rosa walked just one and he gave up to four hits, he then this while striking out six for the Rockies, who had lost three of four. It was Colorado’s Troy Tulowitzki who had two of the four hits, including a RBI triple.
Jonathan Sanchez, activated from the disabled list before the game was the hard luck loser of the game. The player had allowed three runs on just three hits and three walks. Sanchez also fanned a six in his seven-inning start.
