Travis Barker and DJ AM explain how they survived plane crash

There are now details being released as to how former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM both managed to survive their plane crash where the other four passengers sadly lost their lives. Barker and DJ AM real name Adam Goldstein explained how they managed to climb onto the wing of the Learjet.

Both men told Lieutenant Josh Shumpert, of the South Congaree Police Department, that once they slid down the wing of the plane they had to jump on each other to put the flames out. Both men were in shock and pain, but they were worried about their friends who were still on the plane.

Doctors have said that both Travis Barker and DJ AM have second and third degree burns, but will make a full recover. The four who died are pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31; co-pilot James Bland, 52, Barker’s assistant, Chris Baker, 29, and bodyguard, Charles Still, 25.

    Yes, because obviously after being violently thrown through a cabin in a fiery plane crash it’s completely believable that you’d ignore your survival instincts and stay on board, using your magical I-can-see-through-and-breathe-smoke powers to save the others. You wouldn’t just try to, oh I don’t know, survive.

    who are you to judge? where you in the plane? no! this is an absolute tragedy, they had close friends die, the last thing they need is an ass like you judging them an commenting on things you have no clue about!

    You have to be kidding me… what a stupid comment. With third degree burns and a plane ingulfed in flames it would be completely unreasonable for anyone to blame them for not going back for the others who were most definately dead by that point anyway.

    they were very lucky men. so sad that they couldnt help their friends. my heart goes out to the familys and thoes two luck men.
