Reports say that the fire broke out at 11:30 a.m. local time, the blaze has caused about $1.5 million of damage. Nick Nolte had to break a window so that he could escape the fire.

When the authorities arrived at the scene, the fire had fully engulfed his Malibu home. Authorities believe that it was an electrical fault that started the fire in the living room. Luckily no one else was hurt.
