Tony Franklin Fired by Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville

Tony Franklin has been fired by Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville, the offensive coordinator has been fired just seven games in to his tenure. Tuberville has said that he has not been satisfied with the progress being made on offense.

Tommy Tuberville felt that is was time for change, which is why Tony Franklin has been fired. Tuberville has said that he will be taking a larger role in the team’s offensive for the rest of the season.

Tommy Tuberville hired Tony Franklin back in December after sacking Al Borges, lets hope that they get their offensive sorted out soon.

    This is somewhat surprising given Tubervile’s track record and dedication. It was a wise move though. Franklin did not have the confidence of his fans and players. Perhaps he will find a more fitting team for him.

    I agree with you BYE BYE FRANKLIN, neither the fans nor the players were too impressed with the offense. I think if they had more time during the offseason to learn the spread better that they would have produced better results but with such a short time to completely change the offence they players were just not up too par. Auburn should do alot better just playing the good old fasion auburn offense. Heck they cant do any worse than what they were already doing.
