Rednecks for Obama: Barack will bridge culture gap

Topic: politics | October 9th, 2008

Back in July Barack Obama’s campaign bus was in Missouri, and he was met by a couple of his supporters. The two Rednecks were holding a banner up; it said “Rednecks for Obama.” It seems that these two guys wish for Barack to become the first African-American President.

The two rednecks are on a mission to bridge a cultural gap in the United States, and wish to help their preferred choice get in to the White House.

Missouri is a key battle ground for the run-up to the Presidential Election on November 4, so any kind of support that Tony Viessman, 74, and Les Spencer, 60, can give Barack Obama is welcome. The pair has said that they believe in him and say that he is the best person for the job.

  1. We support Obama because he’s one of us!
He supports guns, gun shows, hunting, and self defense!
He supports NASCAR racing, off road vehicles, and loud Harleys!!!
He supports beer guzzling, big fat beer guts, and fast food eatin’ !!!
He loves country music, fiddle and banjo, and square dancing too!
That good ol’ boy that Obama !!! Yee Haw!
Obama enjoys a good cigar, a pack of nonfilter Camels, and some chewing tobacco when he sits outside on the old couch.
And on Sunday I can just see him and his family pulling up to the Baptist church in the ol’ pick up truck with the kids a ridin’ in the back. And he’ll be cheerin’ when the preacher starts a preachin’ on the evils of abortion. Amen !!!
He’s welcome to come and stay with us anytime on our little place down the end of the dirt road and enjoy some of ma’s turnip greens and grits.
Yep, he’d be right at home, sure enough.
