Tigers Coach, Tommy Bowden fired: replaced by Dabo Swinney

Clemson has decided that he no longer wants the services of Tigers Coach, Tommy Bowden, so has fired him. This is just four days after the Tigers were defeated by to Wake Forest and fell to 3-3, Clemson just had enough.

Tommy Bowden explained the situation to his assistant coaches this morning. Clemson has replaced Bowden with Assistant head coach/wide receivers coach Dabo Swinney. He will be the interim coach for the final six regular season games, as well as a potential at the bowl game.

Do you agree that Clemson should have let Tommy Bowden go, and is Dabo Swinney the perfect replacement?

  1. I hate to see anyone get fired but I think it was time for Tommy to go. Is Dabo the perfect replacement? Probably not but it’s hard to get the perfect man in the middle of the season.
