Tony Curtis slams Hollywood: favoritism for Newman and Brando

Tony Curtis, the veteran actor has slammed Hollywood after accusing them of offering better roles to stars such as, Paul Newman and Marlon Brando. Curtis is certain that Hollywood bosses did not help his career by just offering him lightweight roles, when he first started work in the industry.

Tony Curtis has also been slamming the actors’ union, where he accuses the members of not taking his acting abilities seriously. He has been telling USA Today “I just wanted to be treated like anybody else. There was a lot of opposition to me during the early years of movies. It had an effect on me.”

It does make you wonder why Tony Curtis was to bring up something like this. He has not had a bad life, better than most.
