With John McCain trailing Barack Obama as we head towards the end of the race and finding out who wins the United States presidency next month, last night saw Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live (SNL).
Actor Alec Baldwin was on the show and pretended to mistake Sarah Palin for comedian Tina Fey, and with this lampooning of Palin saw Saturday Night Live reach it’s highest ratings in seven years.
Palin was happy with the cameo because it showed a lighter side of the Republican vice presidential candidate, and it showed that Palin can rise above the political shots when needed.
