Family Guy: John McCain and Sarah Palin are like Nazis

When it comes to Fox’s Family Guy nobody is safe, not even when it comes to John McCain and Sarah Palin. The Republican candidates were compared to Nazis; it is no secret that the show’s producer Seth McFarlane supports Barack Obama.

In one scent, Brian, Stewie, and neighbor Mort Goldman are transported back to Nazi Germany. While there, they try to blend in by wearing the uniform of the Third Reich. One of the uniforms had a McCain/Palin button pinned to the lapel, subtle but still a strong statement. The scene was made funnier when Stewie discovered the button pin and said “Huh, that’s weird.”

This has not gone down well with some viewers and voters and have called in to Fox to complain. Fox has defended McFarlane’s right to his political humor.
