HSM’s Zac Efron signs up for Pirates of the Caribbean 4

The movie was never meant to happen, but now since news that Johnny Depp signing up for Pirates of the Caribbean 4, it seems that other stars wish to appear in the movie. The latest to sign up for the movie is High School Musicals Zac Efron.
I wonder if Zac Efron has signed up in this £6 million deal, so the girls have some eye candy as Orlando Bloom is thought no to be starring in Pirates of the Caribbean 4. It was first thought that Keira Knightely was not going to star in the movie, but she has since changed her mind and signed up for the fourth time.
The £6 million deal is more than twice what he earned in HSM 3, showing that he has now made it to the big time. This figure is small compared to Depp’s deal; Disney is paying him £30 million to reprise his role. Zac Efron is also guaranteed to play Troy in High School Musical 4.

Oh my goh that is rediculous I would love a fourth movie they were all awsome but putting such a terrible soppy teenage actor in it would just ruin it. DON’T DO IT DISNEY!!!

no zac efron can not be in it. first off there will be no singing or dancing (hopefully) so he wouldn’t survive. and secondly he a prettyboy u cant have a prettyboy as a pirate only orlando bloom can do that. and yes orlando if u ever read this please come back we need the ruler of the sea to help jack find the fountain of youth.

I’m an amateur actor and I have more talent in my fingernail (forget pinky) than HIM. If he had any respect for real actors and what they do, he’d be quitting show bussines by morning. Him and “Gabriella” both. However, that’s great about Kiera Knightly. There’s an actress who’s actually talented. But I’m not so sure what they’ll do with her and no Will. Call me an idiot, but I’d almost rather not know without a doubt what happened to Will (since differant people involved with the movie have said differant things, his being bound to the Dutchmen forever is not canon)

it is a LONG time to wait for a film but they want to make it bigger & better than the othe 3 films, and its great that johnny is acting in the film
& adding Zac efron he isnt a soppy teenager he is growing up hes like 17 – 19 or something now, but I think it would be a good mix the 2 actors together.
I think it will be a great film!

First off, Pirates of the Caribbean is a tasteless movie series that is not worth watching. I have seen the first three flicks and would like to have those hours back in my life. They are made for the mindless youth, the SAME viewers who are supporters and big fans of Zac Efron.
Zac Efron (Now 22ish) has some real talent, and will add a lot of value to the series.
PS. Orlando Bloom is a douche
