Sadly Anne Pressly died from her injuries on Saturday, after being brutally attacked in her home. An Anne Pressly Reward Fund has been set up, and has now raised $30,000 to catch her killer. Doctors were “guardedly optimistic” that the 26-year-old television news anchorwoman would recover from her head injuries.
Police believe that Pressly was attacked in by a random burglary in her home in Little Rock, Arkansas. Anne Pressly was found by her mother last Monday morning; she was lying unconscious and bleeding from the head.
It was first thought that she had sustained stab wounds to the head, but the head wounds were caused by being hit repeatedly in the face, head and neck with a blunt instrument. Early on Saturday the swelling on Pressly’s head had gone down: however later that day she sadly died.
To make a donation, you can go by any Arvest Bank location. Or, you can mail a check to KATV. Just make it payable to the Anne Pressly Reward Fund at P.O. Box 77, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72203.
