Quantum of Solace: Did you bond with the movie?

Quantum of Solace hit cinemas on October 31st in the UK and it has already been breaking Box Office records. The movie has earned £15.4 million, that’s $25 million on its opening weekend, Sony Pictures Entertainment announced just today.

The previous record was held by Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire earned £14.9 million on its opening weekend. The new Bond movie has had a number of mixed reviews, but it is expected to earn more than the previous Bond movie, Casino Royale, which earned $594 million.

I would have to say that Daniel Craig has done a great job taking over as James Bond; my wife argues with me that he is no Bond as he does not look or act like the others. Before I watched Casino Royale I did agree with her, but the moment I watched Craig, I knew that Bond had made a great comeback.

The problem that the Bond movies had was that it had huge pressure from the Bourne movies, so had to up its game. And boy had Daniel Craig stepped up to the plate.
