Michael Crichton dies, aged 66: his life in short

It has been reported that Michael Crichton, has died at the age of 66. He has written so many books, but he will be best known for writing Jurassic park as well as being the creator of the hit TV show, ER.

His family reported that Crichton died on Tuesday in Los Angeles. He has been battling cancer for some time, and finally succumbed to the disease. John Michael Crichton was born on October 23, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois. He was raised in Long Island, New York.

John Michael Crichton was not only an Author and Producer, but also a Director and a Medical Doctor. His books have sold over 150 million copies, and cover a wide genre, from action, science fiction as well as techno-thriller.
