Narciso Rodriguez dress worn by Michelle Obama on election night

Yesterday, November 4, 2008 was one of the most important days of Barack Obama’s life, so as you would expect his wife, Michelle Obama wanted to look her best. She certainly looked great, in her Narciso Rodriguez dress.

The style of the dress was based on Rodriguez’s spring ’09 runway show in New York, so Michelle was very lucky to be able to wear such a dress. The dress matched perfectly with her husband’s suit.

Barack Obama wore a dark-navy suit, and was custom made by Hart Schaffner Marx, the same style that Obama wore at the Democratic Convention.
