President elect Barack Obama has held his first press conference, and we have it on video below. Obama had a number of topics that he wanted to discuss, but the economy was at the top of his agenda.
Barack Obama said “immediately after I become President, I will confront this economic crisis head-on by taking all necessary steps to ease the credit crisis, help hardworking families, and restore growth and prosperity.”
There are those who wonder why Barack Obama does not act now on behalf of America, although he is not president yet, he is still a member of the United States Senate, and he has the power to come up with a solution. But is it really that easy, I would say not.
