American Idol judge, Paula Abdul is shocked and saddened by the death of ex-contestant Paula Goodspeed, who was found dead near her home in Los Angeles. The body of Goodspeed was found in a parked car outside the house of Abdul yesterday.
Paula Goodspeed was a former contestant from the 2006 series. It seems that Goodspeed was obsessed with Paula Abdul, even after she had been mocked by the judges on the show. Police report that she may have dies from a drug overdose; her death is being treated as a suicide.
Los Angeles police captain James Miller said. “Ms Goodspeed’s mother had gone to (the sheriff’s department) to report her daughter missing, and advised them that she might be suicidal.” He also added “The sheriffs determined that Ms Goodspeed may be up in the vicinity by Paula Abdul’s house. Our officers discovered her vehicle parked on the street, and found her inside. She was unresponsive to officers.”
