Paul McCartney has said that the negotiation that has been going on with iTunes over the Beatles catalog has stalled. Earlier this year it looked as though the deal was almost done, but things are never that simple.

McCartney is hoping that the deal will sort itself out and happen soon. McCartney said “The last word I got back was it’s stalled at the whole moment, the whole process,” the former Beatle said. “I really hope it will happen because I think it should.”

Paul has said that “It’s between EMI and the Beatles, I think.” It is to do with the Beatles holding company Apple Corps Ltd., has declined any access for the Beatles music to appear on any Inter music service, such as iTunes.
