Romancing the Stone remake: who should star?

One of the great films of the 80s has to be Romancing the Stone, which was released in 1984 and starred Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner and Danny DeVito. We know that the original stars will not take up the lead roles, but who will.

The remake is to be written by Daniel McDermott, his most recent screenplay was the Shia LaBeouf thriller Eagle Eye, which is one of my favorite movies of the year. The original movie was directed by Robert Zemeckis, not certain if he will be back for the remake.

Romancing the Stone was about novelist Joan Wilder goes to Colombia, to try and save her sister who has been kidnapped. Joan is out of her element, but she meets adventurer Jack T. Colton, which is when the action begins. As yet it is not known who will star in this movie, maybe it could be another Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie movie.
