Eddie Murphy, Shia LaBeouf not in Batman 3: Rachel Weisz possible

We reported earlier that Eddie Murphy and Shia LaBeouf had been cast for Batman 3, but it seems that The Sun newspaper got their story wrong. Murphy was rumored to be playing the Riddler, while LaBeouf was rumored to be cast as Robin.

The rumor that Rachel Weisz is to play Catwoman seems to be more possible. CinemaBlend.com spoke to an industry source who confirmed that the rumor was in fact false, but what should we expect from a British newspaper.

Other rumors also seem to be true; one is that director Christopher Nolan is now ready to start work on the next batman movie. An insider has said that the movie is further along than anyone first thought. We know that Christian Bale and Michael Caine are back, but the rest of the cast still seems to be a bit of a secret.

    Even though in the dark night dent was left for dead we don’t know that he could still be alive and want revenge. As for rachel weisz as catwomen I think its awsome. She’s a great actress when they cut her out of the mummy 3 it wasn’t as good she leads movies very well. And as for shia playing robin I don’t know he is a great actor don’t get me wrong but I don’t think he could be a masked sidekick its not his style for movies as I have seen I just hope they pick wisely cuz the older batmans are classic like the peguin will be hard to out shine or the riddler which I think johnny depp could handle it but jim carrey could always come back and do it his magic again!!!!

    I think Rachel Weisz should play Catwoman in Batman 3 because she is such a good actress and would play a great catwoman.
