
Matt Smith has now become the 11th person to play Doctor Who, the role will now take him from a British character actor, to what some people are calling, an entertainment legend. He has some big shoes to fill, as David Tennant has certainly made the role his own.
The show has been running for 45-years, and the fans of the show will always remember the ten actors who played Doctor Who before Smith, his name will now join that exclusive list. Each actor has brought something unique to the role, so Smith will have his work cut out.
