
Manchester United football star Cristiano Ronaldo has crashed his Ferrari F599 GTB, the Man U forward escaped unharmed but his car has been written off. Ronaldo was driving his supercar through a tunnel when he crashed into a barrier.
Greater Manchester Police said that the Ronaldo’s team mate Edwin van der Sar was driving behind him at the time in his Bentley, the Dutch goalkeeper was not involved in the accident. Police are now trying to establish the cause of the accident, and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision.
The front end of the £200,000 Ferrari F599 GTB was badly damaged, the front end of the car was completely demolished. One of the wheels came off, and travelled 200 yards from the car.
