
Last night was the TV BAFTAs and The X Factor was among one of the winners on the night as it win Best Entertainment Programme. It seems that the show is still capable of winning awards, which is great to see. No doubt, Simon Cowell celebrated in style.
Among the other winners were ITV’s ‘The Bill’ which won Best Continuing Drama. Stephen Dillane was named Best Actor for ‘The Shooting of Thomas Hurndall’. Anna Maxwell Martin was named Best Actress for ‘Poppy Shakespeare’.
RTE Entertainment also reports that the Best Drama Series went to Wallander’, Best Drama Serial was ‘Criminal Justice’ and Best Single Drama went to ‘White Girl’.

- David Mitchell (‘Peep Show’) Best Comedy Performance

- ‘Mad Men’ Best International award
- ‘Skins’ Audience Award
- Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders honored with the Academy Fellowship.
