Austin City Limits (ACL) Lineup: Music Festival to generate a lot of talk

We still have six months until the eighth edition of Austin City Limits (ACL) Music Festival, and the events lineup has already started to generate a lot of talk. Headliners at ACL 2009 include Beastie Boys, Ben Harper, Dave Matthews Band, Kings of Leon, Pearl Jam and Relentless7.

According to News 8 Austin, other acts at the event include John Legend, K’Naan, Lilly Allen, Mos Def, Sonic Youth, The Decemberists and the Thievery Corporation. Charles Attal, with ACL promoter, C3 Presents has been talking about the event, he said that sometime they get big names and sometimes they do not.

Attal said that the headliners just happened to be on tour this year; this made life easier for ACL to persuade then to do the Austin City Limits music festival. Attal also added that it was fortunate for them to be able to sell the amount of tickets that they have, considering the bad economy that we are.
