Celebrity Apprentice 2009: Melissa Rivers has no regrets

Melissa Rivers, daughter of Joan, was fired by Donald Trump on The Celebrity Apprentice 2009 this week. Mother and daughter then went on to verbally abuse Brande Roderick and Annie Dukes, who are both fellow contestants.
According to Reality TV World, Melissa Rivers has no regrets for her actions. Joan had been watching via a video feed in the contestant suite and accused both Dukes and Roderick of forcing a “cabal” to eliminate her.
Joan had previously said that she would quit the show if her daughter was fired. She ignored the attempts to say goodbye from Brande Roderick and Annie Dukes and both mother and daughter boarded the elevator to leave.

What do you expect? One is a playboys slut and the other lies for her profession. Obviously no morals and any charity that accepts tainted funds from that kind isn’t one I’ll ever donate to. Yeah, Melissa blew up a little to rough as did Joan but, honestly, Melissa ws treated as an outsider. Brandie is the typical blonde for believing in Annie. But then, who really cares? If it was for charity and not ratings, they would all just give money to the charity from thier own pockets anyway.
Melissa is a spolied brat, not a game participant.
“Say something mother” was her mantra.
What was Donald thinking????? UGH.
Brandie has no brains on surgically made breast. She cannot tell that she beng handled that lying bitc! Annie. If i could vote I’d vote Annie off the show. Mr. Trump please fire her Annie this week.

If Melissa wasn’t such an infant, she would have participated. It was her own actions that excluded her from the task. Brande and Annie did nothing wrong.
Stupid thing is I didn’t like Annie Duke until this show. Now I have much more respect for her as a person.
As Doyle Brunson would say, Joan and Melissa are self made women, and they love their creator.
One more thing…
It’s about time for Joan and Melissa to grab a pair of scissors and cut that dang umbilical cord.
I am for Melissa and Joan – I am sorry Joan is gone – Annie is not a nice person and is a master manipulator and Brande is well, Brande is a bunny blonde.

It shows no class to call people names, especially sexist ones (like “whore”), but Melissa got righteously scr*wed by Annie Duke, and her mother sat there and watched. Melissa told her mom to stay out of it. She did not count on her for support. I used to like Annie. I read her book and have several of her poker DVDs. She is a scammer and an opportunist. I was nauseated, watching her beg her friends for money during the auction the previous week. Donald should have fired her. She should practice modesty. She’s a sneak and a generally unappealing person.
I loved this episode! Melissa (aka fire marshall bill…”Let me tell you something.”) acted shamefully two-year oldish, no surprise! I am sure it was in the deal when Donald wanted Joan Rivers to be on the show, that Mommy dearest Joan had Melissa written into the contract. No surprise that when she was fired she left with mommy holding her hand. I am wondering if any one has told Joan that there is no nutritional value to breastfeeding after the age of 1 years old. Obviously the protective mother hasn’t allowed her baby girl to stand on her own two feet, it was very evident with Melissa’s tantrum. Strangely the whole thing made me want to stand up and cheer. Oh, it’s the little things that make me happy. Can’t wait until next week!
I’m an avid fan of the show since the very start,when the west coast app appeared had to turn it off! Celeb caught my eye, except for the omorosa thug.. Now the 2nd apprentice has one of the funniest ladies on board and her lovely daughter this will be a good show again..I was glad when that beligerant Claudia got the Can and Brandie is just as snide as claudie and ann..This show is not about talent and “the Rivers Have Talent” it’s about money! how boring is that.any stupid buxum blonde will try to bring it on as that and admit it..anyway i hope Joan comes back I want her or Clint to win…talk about cutting apron strings. How about the Trumpster cutting his kids string …Trump should of let Brandi go…Melissa is way more talented …so I hope the next celebrity app..has a disclaimer that if you can’t raise enouh money your out the door first..the i won’t have to watch talented people go for it in the mix ..just flaunting asses on TV….
this show will end after this season and Trump is the reson his daughter and cramer couldn’t weight in during a break.. trump left it up to himself to take money over talent…maybe he thinks all the people that are contributing are going to be there in the end.I say fire trump from the show….. The “squirrel’s nest” on top of his head is getting to him!!!
I actually just started watching. I was surprised to see how talented and resourceful Melissa is. The show generally makes Trump look smart; it might be in the editing. He seems to give Joan the respect she is due. He goofed when he fired Melissa, and he goofed when he fired Kloe. Kloe’s an interesting person, and he fired her for no good reason (a DUI in the past). Brande is a bit soft and naive for the show. She is smart in her own way, but she doesn’t realize Annie is manipulating her. Annie is the troublemaker. This may make good TV, but I hate to think that begging for money makes you good at business. Jesse wouldn’t touch his wife’s friends’ money. I admire him for that. They had to push Brande to stick up for herself. They gave her too many chances. I was amused when Brande aligned herself with Ivanka (as both beautiful women), clearly leaving out Melissa and Annie, where Annie has clearly used her looks in poker and probably everywhere else.
Joan Rivers quit after her daughter was fired. Now the Donald hates ” quitters ” and is adamant about those kind of people. If he is not a hypocrite he will not invite or allow Joan to return to the show. He fired others earlier because of certain principles they held but he did not like. So if trump is true to his word Joan Rivers should not be allowed back otherwise I and others will be turning off his show for good – Jim
I totally agree with Jim. I will not be watching the show next season, especially if Joan wins. She is a witch, a has been, and a never was funnay to begin with. Her an Melissa acted despicably, and forgot that the show was not about being nice to people, but about winning. If you’re not in it to win why come on the show. I also was a bit indiferent about Annie early on but am now a big fan and hope she pulls it off next week, to take her rightful place along side Pierce in the winner’s circle. Trump is a hypocrit who is more concerned about what makes for good tv than his principles – Barry.
Joan Rivers is pathetic, even after all that plastic surgery she can NOT mask the fact that she is a very ANGRY old woman. Her daughter Melissa is just as mean and manipulative as her mother. Annie is a hard worker and a survivor, I admit that she is a bit egotistical but overall a very hard worker. I hope Annie kicks Joan’s ass in the finale.
I came into the show liking Annie; now I can’t stand her. She is more venemous than Joan. She just has more self-control, that’s all. She takes the word “manipulative” to an all-time high. I hope I’m nearly as energetic and feisty as Joan is when I’m her age. She has some principles; Annie has none. I do not like some of the words that have come out of Joan’s mouth but she watched her daughter get scr*wed righteously. And I don’t like her extreme surgery. But Joan is no dummy. I would like to think the show is more about smart business sense than begging your friends for money. Putting pressure on your “friends” to force them to bid on thousands of dollars of money–in front of the cameras–is not good business, to me. That is how Annie raised money, by taking advantage of those people she claims as friends.
Both annie and brande watever were so mean to melissa rivers that i was glad joan stood up to them because those two really thought they own everything…..including celebrity appentice…mr. trump had the right idea to have everybody bickering about especially the women and clint black.
The Rivers are a waste of oxygen. They believe they are owed something even though they did not earn it. Pure entitlement and pathetic.
I think Donald Trump had it set in his idiotic mind that Joan was going to win from day one. She constantly tore people apart and he let it happen. She is a mean spirited and unprofessional lady and I use the word loosely. She should have been tossed out on her butt the night she so stupidly smashed her wine glass on the carpet because of the way they were treating her spoiled brat of a daughter.
The show is a complete disappointment and Donald is no better.
Oh my goodness—Annie was a complete fake from the beginning—two faced-back-stabbing–and so what if she got called names—booo hooo–she’s a brat—so what if joan and melissa stuck together and couldn’t stand Annie they are entitled to do so—Annie is just a poker player–no real feelings involved–she bragged on herself all through out the show–obviously she thinks she is a great gift to the world–and she knows everything–has a story for everything and has been there done that–better—yuck who wants to be arouond people like that—she was very annoying and i’m glad she lost
