X-Men Origins: Wolverine takes us back to the beginning, as we learn more about our favorite mutant. Hugh Jackman takes up his role once again as Logan, and we learn more about Wolverine’s past, and why he has so much anger inside him.
The problem with the movie is, much of the story has been covered over the previous X-men movies, and the script is a bit on the dodgy side. Let us not take anything away from this movie though, if you like action, then X-Men Origins: Wolverine is right up there.
The movie takes us back to when brothers, James and Victor Howlett were boys, and gives us a brief history lesson on all the wars that they have fought in together. You can tell from the start that older brother Victor will be trouble, as he begins to enjoy killing.
I am sure that you have read the plot of the movie a number of times, so we will not go into that. I went to the movie expecting great things, and it certainly done that. However, after coming out of the cinema I was left asking myself many questions.
Wolverine’s claws are made from adamantium, which is meant to be indestructible, so how was it melted down an injected into Logan’s body. One thing is certain, Wolverine has always been the most interesting character in X-Men, and all though we got to see a few old mutants, we also got to see some new ones, and they will not be getting their own show.
What did you think of the movie?
