Britain’s got Talent: Jamie Pugh vs Susan Boyle

Britain’s got Talent: Jamie Pugh vs Susan Boyle
Britain’s got Talent has certainly found a few future stars, but could pizza deliveryman Jamie Pugh actually become the winner. Susan Boyle had already wowed the audience with a song from Les Miserables, so Pugh thought he would sing another from the hit West End Show, Bring Him Home.

Britain’s got Talent: Jamie Pugh vs Susan Boyle

Britain’s got Talent 2009 looks set to see a singer becoming the winner, as the talent is brilliant this year. Jamie Pugh must have done something right as he had the audience on their feet with his performance.

The Sun said that the judges loved him; Simon Cowell said, “I think you could be a special talent.” The problem is, Pugh is a very shy man, and Cowell said that he has to work on his confidence; he added, “You have to start believing in yourself.”

Does Jamie Pugh have what it takes to win Britain’s got Talent?

Last nite; I was completely bowled over by Jamie Pugh; he was obviously terrified, but boy did he came up trumps. I felt so emotional by his rendition of ‘Bring him home’ The emotion he portayed was phenomenol and that’s something that is challenging to get across and difficult to teach someone to relate. Jamie is certainly a star for the future and I for one will be watching his development with avid interest.

I just hope that he is toatlly supported in these early days while he is so vulnerable and not exploited.

Well Done Jamie; your performance was just fantastic.

Jamie reminds me of that bloke who won X Factor a few years back. Steve somebody who has not been heard of since. Same look, same tearful demeanor. People seem to fall for it with blokes, if a woman did that she would not get away with it. I thought he was a hambone, it was sooo OTT it was cringe worthy and I was not impressed. The only two acts who were any good were the girl playing the violin and the kid who wants to be Oliver(and I agree with Simon he needs different routine to show off his talents).

If Susan Boyle does not win it will be a complete and utter travesty.

I disagree with Jessie. I don’t see where Jamie used his emotions as a gimmick, rather than just being himself. You could clearly see his hands shaking when Simon was commenting on his confidence.

To me, he came off as a sincere guy that was really trying to overcome one of his fears, by showcasing his talent in this venue.

I love Susan Boyle, I really do. She was my favorite until Jamie came along. And if you ask me why, well the answer is simple. Susan will most likely land a record deal, win or lose, as opposed to Jamie, who lacked the “viral” reaction. He will most likely go back to delivering pizzas if this doesn’t work out.

So in terms of giving someone a break, I hope that Britain realizes that Jamie needs it more than anybody who has been on that stage.
