Britain’s Got Talent 2009 winner: Jamie Pugh or Susan Boyle

Britain’s Got Talent 2009 winner: Jamie Pugh or Susan Boyle
Britain’s Got Talent 2009 looks set to be the year of the singers, like it was in the first season. A few weeks ago, we thought that Susan Boyle had already won the show, but it looks as though she has competition in the way of Jamie Pugh.

Britain’s Got Talent 2009 winner: Jamie Pugh or Susan Boyle

The two singers chose songs from Les Miserables, Boyle with I Dreamed a Dream, and Pugh decided to sing Bring Him Home. Out of the two, I have to say that Boyle’s was a better audition. Her voice was much better, and do not forget that shock factor.

If have been watching Britain’s Got Talent 2009, who do you think will win, Jamie Pugh vs Susan Boyle. Maybe neither will win and one of the other acts will instead.

Susan Boyle and Jamie Pugh and at least a few others in the Top 10 should all appear in the Royal Variety Show. Why limit that honor to just one, especially in this amazing season. Why not let the queen herself decide how many acts from BGT should appear in the RVS?

I was astounded by Susan Boyle, and moved as well. But for sheer emotional reaction, this audition by Jamie Pugh goes off the scale. And that’s one amazing voice. They both have incredible voices, incredible talents. Come to think of it, why not have them do a duet album? That would be a first, and the public would love it.

Susan Boyle and Jamie Pugh are both so amazing! I would definitely like to see both of them move on in their careers. It is just incredible to me to see ordinary people getting praises for their voice It brings me to tears to see this happen.

No comparison! He had a nice voice but Susan Boyle had a GREAT VOICE! BIG DIFFERENCE!

Both are extraordinarily talented, but I think she is the better singer. And both performances were moving, but Susan’s was much more so, for me. The song she sang described her own life situation, and the final words: “Now life has killed the dream” were heart wrenching. Upon finishing, she throws a kiss to the audience, and begins to exit BEFORE listening to the judges’ evaluations…As if she was more interested in telling her story with her stunningly beautiful voice, than hearing what they thought of her performance. And her self confidence, even cockiness, despite the laughing, sneering, and eye rolling before she began to sing, was inspiring. She new she would blow them away…And she did! What a human being. I think that is what I loved so much about it – she not only showed us her tremendous talent, but she wrapped her whole self, her own life, who she is as a person – into that one performance. Simply superb.

Both of these people sang with all their hearts, and a great deal of courage.

I agree Susan Boyle had much more power and poise, but Jamie Pugh doesn’t have the training she’s had. I knew the moment he finished that there was a deeply emotional story behind his choice of song and his moving interpretation of it. At first I thought it was the loss of a child, but by now we’ve all read it was the loss of his wife to a brain tumor.

We sing and create music to proclaim victory, to mourn, to express our devotion to God, to celebrate beauty, joy, love. What a miraculous gift this is.

Singing is all about professional guts and confidence when you’re on stage. Susan Boyle has both these QUALITIES and more. She’s not nervous, very steady, believe in herself, full of confidence, is proactive, humourous as well. She sang beautifully and proved to the audience/critics in the studio including the 3 judges who already judged and laughed at her because of her looks and aged 47 the moment they saw her entered the stage. She really rocked them all. As soon as she opened her mouth to sing from the 1st second till the end, it turned from jeers to cheers and they applauded her angelic voice all the way. They gave her standing ovations including judges Piers Mogan and Amanda Holden. Simon can only stared with Aw. She really blew them away. She hit a perfect pitch all the way. What a voice! Her performance is extraordinary, shell shocked, stunning and incredible . She has a great voice, crystal clear and better than Jamie. Ye fans, please VOTE FOR SUSAN BOYLE! Dont forget the shock factor. She was the very one who made/advertised this series, Britains Got Talent popular throughout the whole wide world, through U Tube, International Media, ITV, etc that attracted more than 200 million viewers and fans that she had. She had helped the producers of this BGT very popular and we are indebted to her. She taught the world not to “Judge the book by it’s cover”. We are indeed grateful amd must thank her for that. Otherwise Britains Got Talent by now is not popular. You’ve heard Jamie Pugh’s singing. He’s wrecked nervous and had no self-confidence. He only had nice voice but still cannot beat Susan’s great powerful voice. Dear fans, don’t be HOOKWINK by sympathy votes. VOTE FOR SUSAN! Don’t get swayed by Jamie’s voice and abandon Susan if you are really her genuine fan. Don’t take for granted that she had already won(it’s very dangerous) just because she had tens and tens of millions of fans/viewers. Action speaks louder than words. To show your LOVE and SUPPORT for her, Vote her IN in all her next audition, auditions. We’ve got to see her crown as the winner of BGT 2009 and sing infront of the Queen. Her win is also our win. God bless Susan all the way. And God bless ye beautiful fans too. LOVE SUSAN! LOVE YOU ALL! Cherrio!

neither of them are gonna win…its goin to the 12 year old singer by the name of Shaheen Jafargholi outta Wales or the 11 year old Aiden Davis the dancer…Shaheen got a standing ovation not only from the crowd but from the judges, including Simon….but if its either of them it’ll be Susan

  • “be prepared”

Be prepared for the “SHOCKS”, more shocks, “SURPRISED” as what the judge, Piers Morgan had said in his blog in this Semi-Final on 23.5.09 this Saturday. Glad to see Susan Boyle is back again to sing on Saturday night 23.5.2009 in her Semi-Final. We, her fans are excited indeed. Just can’t wait. She definitely will go through to the final enroute to be the winner of BGT 2009 and perform infront of the queen. Who knows Jamie, Hollie and Shaheen hmmmm….will not make it to the final? Go SUSAN GO!! Good Luck. God bless and smile.
