Tony Awards Nominations 2009 Live Broadcast

Tony Award winning actress Cynthia Nixon, along with her Tony Award winning actor Lin-Manuel Miranda, has announced the Tony Awards Nominations 2009. If you happened to be in Times Square, then you will be able to catch the nominations in a live broadcast in their entirety on the Clear Channel Spectacolor HD video screen.

The Tony Awards live broadcast will be televised on the CBS television network on Sunday, June 7, 2009, in a three-hour ceremony from Radio City Music Hall. Broadwayworld.com reports that The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing will present the 2009 Tonys.

The Tony Awards consists of 27 competitive categories, some of those include, Best Play, Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Score, Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play, and many more.
