Paula Abdul has decided to open up about her addiction to pain killers, the American Idol judge tells all in an interview with Ladies’ Home Journal. Paula was involved in a car accident back in 1992, and she also lived through a plane crash in 1993, this has left her in immense pain.
Paula explains that the pain is both physical and mental, the former singer had to undergo 15 spinal surgeries, and as a result, she is now dependent on pain medication. In the interview, Abdul admitted that she once took so many painkillers, that she almost died.
