Should Lil Kim been eliminated from Dancing with the Stars 2009?

I am so upset about this! The rodeo guy should have gone then shaun. I will not watch anymore this season. There has got to be a mistake. The girl was good throughout. Very big disappointment.

I tkink it’s unfair Kim proved her self to be a very good dancer how can you she be voted off because of a bad day.
Ty is good looking but we are not voting on looks are we ?

So this is a big upset. This is the second time someone who can dance has been eliminated. Sabrina Bryan and Lil\’ Kim had to be the biggest upsets for me. They both should have been in the finals. Both of the girls had my votes and I wish America wouldn\’t have assumed they were safe. In this competition no one is truly safe.

I didn’t get to watch the show last night, but am in shock that Lil’ Kim got eliminated. I watched the show on Monday night, and she did better that at least two of the other contestants on the show in my opinion. Ty is tooooo stiff, he moves like he has arthritis. Shawn isn’t as bad as Ty, but she just isn’t graceful to me. I think the scoring was crazy on Monday night by the judges. And I agree with Janice, Monday night was the last show that I will watch in this season as well.

The votes should be exclusive of the professionals, the judges, and in the finals let the people vote with them. After all this season I manage my husband to watch dancing with the stars, last night he endeup asking is this another american idol (popularity contest) or what? little kim was one of the best, now I do not think we will watch it again.

I believe Kim should have gone to the finals. She was truly a great dancer and mastered each dance. She really was in her element. I do know that unfortunately the audience who would have supported Kim were either not watching, voting or inconsistent with both therefore allowing her to be voted off. As she said, she really did bring viewers to the show who normally would have never watched. So long Kim and I think you should stick with dancing.

I was shocked to see Lil’ Kim get eliminated. This was the first year I really got into the show. I watch it faithfully every Monday and Tuesday and after last night I will not be watching it anymore.

I can’t believe this. When I finally started watching the show because of lil kim she get voted off…What kind of crap is that??? I will never watch this show again..or maybe when someone else is as good as her!! DWTS sucks!!!!

I did not watch last night, but boy was I shocked when I read that Kim is gone. She is a good dancer. I don’t think she would have won. but she shouldn’t have gone this soon.

Because Lil Kim was voted off last night, and not the worst dancer (Ty Murray), my wife and I decided not to watch next week–too painful to see a good dancer voted off while keeping a nice guy. Unfair voting regulations have made us vote off the show.

Let’s remember that America’s votes are what keep people or send them home. It’s always going to turn into a popularity contest when America votes. Unfortunately, either Ty (who I think was as shocked as everyone else) has more fans, or people assumed Lil Kim would’ve made it. Should Lil Kim have gone home last night? Probably not. However, she did, and that’s no reason to stop watching the show. She was at the bottom with Ty, and apparently more American’s voted for Ty. There are still two really good dancers left!

Darek was a complete show-off on Mon. night, he totaly outdanced Lil Kim. Lil Kims spotlight dance looked sleazy and I was embaressed to watch it and I didnt want to watch her shake her butt again. On the other hand, Ty has shown the greatest improvement than any of the dancers (in any season). He started out as a boring bumbling clod and turned into an adorable all American dancing cowboy… Thats why I and millions of Americans voted for him…

One should never be surprised who’s kicked off the show. No question Kim was the better dancer, but this is a popularity contest more than a talent contest. How many times in Dancing with the Stars has the best dancer(s) lost – too many I’m afraid.

What a ridiculous waste of talent! Derek & Lil Kim were great. I agree about letting the “professional judges” have the final say. It is suppose to be a dance contest, not a popularity contest. And in Melissa’s case…a pity contest.

Unfair, but no surprise. Don’t you watch the show…the best dancers never win. Audiences are manipulated by judges comments (the Bruno ‘tramp’ comment for one). And what they don’t say…she was dancing with a rib amaged during rehearsals She was dancing in serious pain. Did you hear about that? No. But how many times have we heard about Melissa’s so-called injury? She was already fighting negativity for her rapper persona (deserved) but this was a different venue and she was wonderful. I stopped being upset by this show after the 1st season. You will learn.

Kim is a dancer. She has become a sex symbol on the show. She should have been voted off. Ty Murray is not a professional dancer. He is 8 times World Champion Bull Rider, not a dancer. But, Ty has improved week after week and should continue on the show. What has this show become? A sex show or professionals dancing with professionals? Ty has been giving 110%. He is going for the gold and should so! Keep up the great work Ty!

why, was lil kim voted off, she was doing so good. how come cowboy is still on the show????? he sucks like yesterday’s mail. i won’t be watching anymore this season, i don’t care who wins now. don’t worry about it lil kim, your’e still a STAR, your fans knows who you are, keep your head up and be ever so proud of yourself, love you lil kim.

LiL Kim should not have left the show last night. Ty can’t not even ball room dance yet and he is still on the show! Besides the Professional Dancers the ones that wants that ballroom trophey should already know the dances at this point. It wasn’t fair for her to have left the show and she can do the ballroom dancing. Messila and Gil is still there and they can dance. It doesn’t make any sence to me that TY is still there.

My husband and I have watched Dancing With the Stars from it’s inception. We will never watch it again!!!!! Lil Kim and Derek’s elemination is rediculos. TY, is clearly the worst dancer, and should be gone!!!!!!!

Lil Kim is not a professional dancer, she is a recording artist. But that is besides the point. Why Ty is still there I will never understand. During the history of the show, I can honestly say America has had it right. But last night was the worst. At this point in the season the best is usually in the top 3. But this year, I wouldnt be surprised if Ty won. Come on we knew Lil Kim wasnt going to win…Blacks winning the presidency and DWTS?? I doubt it…LOLOLOL

A Good Week! I’ve been hoping for this elimination since week one. Even before I saw her jerky, error-filled dancing.

I could never look at the lil ex-con without being reminded of the vile filth she regularly spews from her mouth, then calls it ‘music’.

I am very pleased that the majority of the DWTS fan-voters are too civilized to vote for the lil tax cheat.

All throughout the show, I kept sayin, “Bye-bye, Cowboy! You tried; I admire you for it, but…”

I was shocked…no, stunned that Lil’ Kim and Cutie Dereck got kicked off. They were excellent! The results were unbelievable!

(No offense to the cowboy, though, but…!)

…I also think Melissa is very good; so is Gil, but Lil’ Kim should’ve been in the semi-finals.

Someone above was very correct, though. Not enough people voted for Kim/Kym. Ty’s folks made more calls and more texts to keep Ty on. The rest of us miscalculated.

Lil’Kim shouldn’t have been voted off, she was way better then Ty and looking at past season during this time it all comes down to Talent, and as my mom said when we were watching it, Texas is a big state, but still the United States are bigger and Lil’Kim’s departure was obviously a big surprise for everyone that night, I know for a fact that my mom and I were shocked. Please Ty may be good looking, but Ty is not talented, why is he still there?

I agree Lil’Kim left to soon. It has turned into a personality contest not a dance contest. I hope Gil wins. I don’t understand why Melissa is on the show, she’s not a celebrity, if she wins it will be from pity votes, and that’s just not fair, come on people we’ve all been dumped, that doesn’t make us a celebrity.

I really should not get into this conversation because it has pissed me off for years. No she should not have went home this week, however let me say that I have NOT been voting for her. But in the past if you do follow this show they have sent some fine dancers home because of the popularity and not the talent. Mario Lopez was one of the best dancers that was ever on that show but who won? And it wasn’t because he was the best dancer either it was because of his fan base. That’s just one example. I have many, I guess we just need to grin and bare it cause there is nothing we can do about it, except stop watching. And look how many dancers went home last year just so they could keep Leachman, that was so unfair. I see this show going down the tubes if it keeps up. Sounds like alot of people are pissed about the “rules”. Me too……

Lil Kim should have been voted off bcuz she didnt get enough of “Americas Vote”. I can’t be too upset bcuz i never voted and never will. So all the people on here thinking that is a travesty, needs to pick up there phone and start voting. I think that the judges should vote all the way through, but then they wont make money off of ur paying 10.99 for each vote you make.

I like Shawn, she just needs to add some personality to her routines, that paso doble she did was great!

If you didn’t know Shawn has been getting better scores than Lil kim and better averages. Shawn should not get kicked off and is better than lil kim. Also she has been underscored. Lil Kim only has good expressions with her plastic face.

Shawn has been doing great, and she is still one of my favourites, all of my favourites would have been in the semi-finals if people voted for her, like I did, but whatever, as long as Ty goes home this week, and doesn’t get pity votes everything will be set right
