Video: Paula Abdul American Idol 2009 Performance

Paula Abdul had been a judge of American Idol for seven seasons, and it took until the eighth to put her money where her mouth was and get up on stage and perform. We are so used to her analyzing the singing of others, but after her performance, she is a bit of a hypocrite as you can clearly see that she lip-synched her way through a performance of her new song “I’m Just Here For The Music”.
Vancouver Sun said that you still have to give Abdul credit though, she emerged on stage with a mass of dancers, and Paula can still dance. Singing while dancing is always hard and you could clearly see this as her mouth was not in time with the music, do you think that Abdul has lip-syncing it was obvious to me.
It just seems a shame that we have a judge from American Idol pretending to sing, when you have someone like Allison Iraheta belting out a rock song live, and then get voted off. I think that Paula should have been voted off after that poor performance.

I actually enjoyed her performance. She danced like all over the stage but hey she got her moves on. and I loved her dancing and I didn’t think it was out dated like other people said on other websites. and hey I agree with Amanda… Paula is WAY BETTER then Miley!!!!

No one’s voice sounds like that. Waaaayyyy too synthesized. I don’t get why she would even do that in the first place.
Paula is the most unintelligent person I have seen on TV. This annoys me as she cannot make a decent suggestions to help the contestants rather she tries to play off the judges comments. Yet she has all this money!! so why does she not use this to learn how to give some constructive critism so that she can sound like she has some brains. I’m sorry – we laugh everytime she speaks.
Paula Abdual rocks i’ve loved her since her very first cd came out Paula keep doing what you do best and i hope you don’t leave american idol it’s the only ressone i watch.Your the shinning star to anyone who wants to do good in life and your an amazing superstar to me.Ps:I Think you and simone cowelle should get married your 46 you need someone to spend the rest of your life with !! Wow just pointing out the obvious to the person that said she’s unintelligent; she has to be or else she wouldn’t be where she is now. She’s worked hard all of her life and deserves everything she has now. You put yourself out there and rock the industry like she has and then you’ll have the right to say she’s not intelligent.
