Fans will be gathering to see the big event. The action includes the qualifiers for the Southern 500 and the Nationwide Series’ Diamond Hill Plywood 200. The weekend finishes off with the track’s annual Sprint Cup event, which is at night under the lights.
NASCAR has become the second-most viewed professional sport in regards to TV ratings and is televised in many countries. It was Kyle Busch that took last year’s event, but it will be driver Jeff Gordon that will be looking to add to his 7 Darlington race wins.
