Well you can say many things about Celebrity Apprentice2009, but boring is not one of them, and after her shock walkout a few weeks ago, who would have thought that Joan Rivers would have been crowned the winner.
There will be mixed feelings about Rivers beating rival Annie Duke, which all came to a head in this three-hour live finale. The win did not come easy for Joan Rivers, as they two of them had to raise money for their respective charities. They did this by trying to sell Cirque du Soleil tickets and providing a pre-show VIP party.
Annie was ahead in earnings; Annie also won props for integrating her charity well with the final challenge. But it was Joan who managed to pull in bigger celebrities, as well as integrating big sponsors, Kodak.
