If the Biggest Loser Season 7 has taught us anything, then age has nothing to do with it, as it is never too late to lose weight and get in to shape. That is just what 48-year-old Helen Phillips did when she became “The Biggest Loser” on Season 7 on Tuesday night.
Most of Helen’s competition had overlooked her, as they thought that she was too old to be a threat to them. How wrong they were, she started the show weighing 257 pounds, and got her weight down to 117 pounds. Helen managed to lose 54.47% of her body weight, becoming half the person she once was.
The Los Angeles Times has another example that age has nothing to do with it, this was proven once again with 64-year-old Jerry, he was booted off the ranch but continued to work out hard at home. He started the show weighing 369 pounds, at the end he weighed 192 pounds, he lost 177 pounds, which was almost 48 percent of his body weight.
