I was happy with the way the show ended. Sad to see it go but I liked the ending. I hope that there could be a spin off of the show like with Hurley’s life leading the island and being the new Jacob with Ben helping him. I think that would be an acceptable reason for a LOST Spin-Off

The smoke monster awakens periodically. When it does a group of people are lured to the island. If there is a battle, the monster feeds and then goes into hibernation until it needs to feed again. If there is no battle, the monster dies of starvation. The monster wants to leave the island because it wants to make sure that it never runs out of food. After all, there is always fighting and hatred somewhere in the world. Jack prevents the monster from leaving the island — probably with the help of his friends. Jack and his friends are then transported into their current "real" lives as if nothing has happened. Yet, deep inside, they know something is different. They will not remember what has happened until the monster awakes again, and another adventure will begin — with Jack and the friends being called upon to deter the monster once again. Or, which I think is more likely: the descendants of Jack and his friends will be called upon to accomplish the task. Maybe David and Aaron will be the leaders of the next adventure. Or maybe David and Aaron will be a Jacob-Monster combo in years to come.

wow i thought i was obsessed… anyways guys you have to remember every single clue even the ones that you think dont matter, because they all connent…
as for the black smoke, it is what has become of Jacobs brother, after all the tragety he faced he was thrown into light but only darkness came out????? we saw how Saeds darkness could take over him because of his losses???
ive heard so many theorys, one that ive heard is they are all apart of hueys metal dellusions, remeber he was in a mental institute???
another i heard is they are all stuck between heaven and earth and its a battle between Jacob and the black smoke on who enters where, and also when some of them die they cannot leave the island as they have unfinished business like make a good deed or something, just like micheal the dark guy with the kid.

theres so many theories its hard to tell but there is only couple more episodes left and we now know bits more, but im still getting caught in the twists….i just hope the finally is not disapointing because i will be gutted..

Cannot wait for Across the Sea. My moneys on it being the best episode ever !!
A better version of Ab Aterno (which was incredible) me thinks. Don't care what i see in this or any episode, my view of Jacob being the good guy and smokey bad wont change. I'm guessing in Across the Sea they'll show Jacob as bein a bit of a prick and maybe make us reason and empathize with smokey but nooo thanks!

Also an interesting comment from locke 2.0 in last weeks episode. When kate and james are talking to him and he is talking baout getting off the island. He sez '' it's the only way we are getting of this… godforsaken rock ''

For a slight moment he stops before he sez god forsaken rock. Has god forsaken him or is it just the expression he chose?

I think the final scene will be jack and locke sitting on the beach alone on the island.
Just like we saw jacob and mr black.
Jack will be the one that replaces Jacob and Mr Black is still there but in lockes form.

on the last episode in season 5 i dnt know if its just on my dvd or it was ther 4 all of u but did ur screen go black at one point then back to normal,this was when locke was talking to jacob.

What are people's thoughts to the link between flashforward and lost? For anyone who hasnt noticed there was of course the oceanic billboard in flashforward and as we know oceanic doesnt exist in real life.
Ive been thinking although the show most likely isnt a spin off, what if it's linked around the event that occurs.

It may just be a seperate timeline, we know in lost how many timelines can exist. But what links the shows is the event.
If we have any flashforward fans here, you would have heard damien monhans character talking about the quantum entanglement device or ring. I have noticed in lost that charlie never takes his drive shaft ring off. I dont maybe it's totally unrelated.
Also maybe in flashfoward the mystery employer is again charles whitmore??

I think we shud be prepared for the worst!! (deathss me thinks)! The way smokey said to sayid about "whats coming" i just expect it to mean Sayid takin down losties tbh. And it wont neccessairly be bad for Sayid cus he's all, weird and a robot pratically. I hope not but as the seasons coming to an end i just don't expect to see all the losties alive in the finale,gonna have to start killin some off.

Also i am very excited for the next episode Happily Ever After. Desmond centric, meant to be seeing some surprise appearences too. i'm not gonna say who but i saw the casting, and my fave characters BACK shud be very interesting
